I'm so late this month, but 'tis the season for holidays and sunshine and Antonia and I have been visiting family - she in the US and I in the UK. I don't have a lot of new stock to offer this month, but we will have an absolute cornucopia next month and I'm also here to let you know that we've got free standard shipping on until the end of the month. Ruby is the birthstone for July, and it is, all factors being equal, the most expensive coloured stone out there. Instead of ruby we are featuring some lovely red-orange tourmaline - why not have a look and get more carats for your cash?! Next month we will have restocks of opal, turquoise, tanzanite and new stocks of brown moonstone, which I've never stocked before.

As always, you can find out more information about any of these stories by visiting either www.joopygemsusa.com or our blog.

Deep Red-Pink Tourmaline

Gorgeous orange-pink tourmaline cabochons with great saturation! If you like your reds, how about sating your ruby desires with something a little more gentle on the pocket?! You can find more of these superb stones in our Limited Edition tourmaline, click below.

Citrine Sunshine

How about some bright sunshiny citrine for these warm (well depending on where you are!) days? We have citrine in rounds, ovals, cushions and pears, rose cut and cabochon. Above pictured is our lovely chunky 10mm rose cut, price:

$32
Azure-Blue Topaz

Or some beautiful swiss blue topaz, to put you in mind of those sublime azure skies. We have rounds, pears and ovals, rose cut and cabochon. Featured above is our gorgeous 8x6mm faceted rose cut oval, a lovely deep, clean blue and a snip at just:

$16.50

Grass-Green Peridot

Summer days mean walking barefoot in the grass. I can't tell you how amazing it is, both for me and my kids to remind ourselves what cool grass feels like between the toes! We have peridot in all shapes and sizes, another fantastic colour for summer. Pictured left is our 6mm rose cut cushion.

Also seen this month...

There's a fascinating article in JCK online on the cutting of a 65 carat diamond from rough to finished gem. They also have an article on hot, vintage jewellery trends, of particular interest to me as I've recently developed an interest in vintage jewellery. I was interested to see that the Jewellery Editor has an article featuring apatite, dubbed 'the great unknown gemstone', plus I was interested to see their collection of 'everyday jewellery' - I love these M'ama Non M'ama stacking bangles from Pomellato with amethyst, peridot, topaz etc.

*Offer ends midnight 31st July 2017. One discount per customer; cannot be combined with any other offer.
